From Dubai to Khartoum...

We arrived in Dubai around 3 am local time. By the time we arrived at the hotel, it was around 4 am. We waited for Subuh before going to sleep. The kids were flat. We woke up around 9 am, had breakfast and went out to Deira city centre to buy shoes for Hadi and me. We used the bus provided by the hotel and had a little tour of the hotels around the airport.

Deira city centre's quite big and we had a nice time window shopping...hehehe. We managed to buy school shoes for Hadi and walking shoes for me. The kids got a camel soft toy each...hehehe. On our way back, Amir was mesmerised with one toy shop because it was full of disneys' toys, particularly Lightning McQueen from Cars.

When we threatened to leave him there, he was adamant. He didn't even budged. When we walked away, Hadi was so frustrated that he started pushing Amir, then World War 3 broke out. To our chagrin, they were fighting like cats and dogs, really fighting. One was not budging and one was pushing with all his might. We were too shocked to stop them, and they looked so cute fighting  each other...hehehe

Finally we had to literally 'separate' them. The other shop keepers were also smiling looking at them...hehehe. The funny thing was because we knew why Hadi went berserk. It was because he loved Amir too much to leave him at the shop...hehehe. Anyway, we went back to the hotel by taxi and started to pack our luggage.

We went to the airport around 1 pm, and shopped for chocolates for Khartoum...hehehe. We spent a lot of money on chocolates and the 'loot' lasted 3 months...hehehe. On the aeroplane, for the first time Amir cried but when the stewardess gave him a box of chocolate, all went quiet...hehehe. We arrived safely around maghrib on the 5th of January and we started to look forward to our trip home, again...

They were playing PSP while waiting for our room...

They were flat...

Amir was 'interested' in this girl...hehehe

This is the shop where the fight started...

On the way to the airport...

Hadi's enjoying his lunch...

Amir, playing PSP...

Amir, sleeping...

Amir, crying...

Amir, stuffing his face with chocolates...hehehe
