On Wednesday, the 27th of May, my brother, Mamud followed us to Cameron Highlands. Actually, I wanted to go on my own but my husband 'forbid' me to go on my own...cheh! He said if I wanted to go, I'll have to go with my brother...sigh...
I didn't know why I wanted to go to Cameron Highland really badly. It's just one of the places that I liked. Most probably because it's 'cooler' there...hehehe. Anyway, Mamud never been there before so he volunteered to drive while I navigate (actually just to read the road signs...hehehe)
But the problem with my brother was... he was really gross... He was giving out 'bad gas' all the way to the top! Cheh! He farted countless times... And we had to 'suffer' all the way to Cameron Highlands.
When we arrived, it was nearly 2 p.m, about 3 hours drive from Rawang. I forced Mamud to drive using the Simpang Pulai exit instead of Tapah because I knew my car's not very powerful (it's an auto) so it's a better way up the hills. Though it's farther but the road was much better with many 'overtaking' lanes. Even though the road was not that steep, Amir had motion sickness regardless... Pity, my baby...hehehe
When we arrived, it was drizzling but we had to scout around for a hotel to stay. I tried the Equatorial but a 2 bedroom apt. cost rm428...sigh, way beyond our budget. So when I asked at the Star Regency in Brinchang, and was told that it was only rm 176 for a 2 bedroom apartment, we took it gladly...hehehe
We rested for awhile and after Asar, we went to the butterfly farm, to Aliah's discomfort. The boys were quite excited but she was squeamish all the way. True enough, she refused to enter the butterfly 'cage' and preferred to be left with the 'snakes'! Actually, the place did not only have a butterfly garden, it also had a flower garden and also a lot of reptilians and bugs on display. So Mamud kept her company while the boys and me explored the butterfly garden.
We had fun spotting butterflies. At one time, Amir fell down among the bushes and knocked down some flower pots...hehehe, kesian dia...tergolek 'dog' kat situ, all because of the uneven ground. After that, all of us explored the flower garden where Aliah was truly happy and after that the kids went to look at the 'bugs and snakes'...
On our way back, we literally 'forced' Aliah to enter the butterfly garden where she screamed and squirmed her way out...hehehe. After that we went home and I got my wish of being in a 'cooler' weather because it rained and it rained... and Cameron Highlands was very cold...hehehe
After dinner we were even caught in the rain because it was raining and a lorry blocked our car and we had to brave the rain to get into the car! Mamud was expert enough to drive past the awkwardly parked lorry! But Hadi was soaked and had to change because he was so cold. But that also meant that they had an excuse to bunk with me for the night...Cheh! So, all the four of us slept on one bed while my brother had a room to himself! Sigh... Enjoy the pictures...
The very typical 'Malaysian Chinese' entrance! hehehe...
Aliah cried and begged to be left with the 'snakes'!
My very own 'Ben 10's
Beautiful butterfly...
Another species...
Posing with humongous cacti...
She liked the flower garden...
With their uncle...
She was truly scared in the butterfly garden...
My brother with a very subdued butterfly...
They're so happy to be able to conquer the bed...sigh...
