Last night on my way to the house, I saw a lot of Keadilan and PAS flags. Tonight there should be a 10 year celebration of Keadilan in Tasik Puteri. I was so looking forward to observe the 'celebration' ... hehehe
On my way to Kak Siti's house this morning (around 11 a.m), I saw so many police cars and vans around Tasik Puteri. I thought it must be such a big event to warrant so much involvement from the police. There were so many policemen 'guarding' the entrance to Tasik Puteri...sigh...
Anyway, on my way back home before Asar, everything was 'cleared'! Even the Keadilan flags were brought down! All of them! There was nothing to prove that the event was even planned! I am so disappointed. I thought with a new man in power, there would be a 'sense' of 'fairness'. At least give the other side a chance to air their views. Hey, the Selangor MB was supposed to be there tonight. I thought PKR won the election in Selangor?!! How wrong I was!
I thought the new PM said there should be one Malaysia or did he say it was one Barisan?!! I am truly confused... I thought we are all Malaysians, irrespective of our political belief... sigh... I am truly saddened by this turn of event. I thought I would be able to teach my children that even though we have a BN government but other political parties are also able to air their views and their grouses... So that, there will be a semblance of 'check in balance' in our government!
But how could I tell my children that in our country even to have a peaceful celebration's also not permitted? I'm truly disappointed. Truly, truly disappointed...
