On the third day of fasting, I made orange-flavoured cup cakes. I gave most of them to my neighbours at level 1 and 2...hehehe. I love the tradition of giving during Ramadhan. It became kind of a game for me.
Sometimes my husband just shook his head in disbelief. At one point, I even arrange a few small trays of kueh on the freezer near the door. As soon as somebody came to the door to give us something, I just whipped out the ready kueh...hehehe. It was fun! But one day, Kak Shidah gave me kueh in a ceramic plate and without thinking I just gave one of the plastic trays. When I realised, I started laughing...because now I had to return her plate with something else the day after...hehehe
The other person who liked to exchange dishes would be Ina. We even made a joke of it. One day, Ina gave me a dish, I reciprocate and I thought it was over for the day...when suddenly right before maghrib, Ina gave me another dish...hehehe. Oh, the fun and the stress of waiting for the time to berbuka! Actually, I love every minute of it and every little dishes people gave me... and I normally ended up eating everything because I did not want it to go to waste. Hmm, I'm definitely not getting thinner this Ramadhan...sigh
