On 17th of August, we had lunch at Kak Jas's house. The main reason for this was because they were not satisfied that butter prawn was taken out of the menu for the kenduri...hehehe. So, I offered to sponsor the prawn and the others agreed to cook a dish each.
In the end, Kak Jas cooked butter prawn, fried fish, masak lemak jirjir and pucuk ubi rebus. Ina cooked daging padprik and sambal tempoyak, while Kak Maria made ayam masak kicap. Me? I just made the drink...hehehe. Kak Shidah and Kak Anum became our guests of honour.
The food was truly delicious. A mixture of kampung style and luxury...hehehe. At the end of it, we were really 'se'eh' aka full. We even had to bring some of the food home...hehehe.
