We're left behind...

Today is the 28th of Ramadhan. Almost all of the single-status Petronas staff are back in Malaysia or on their way there. About one third of the families also take this opportunity to go home. They've been going back in droves starting from last week. Several families are going to spend the holidays in the UK, France and also Turkey.

But for some of us, we're going to make the most of this holiday. For block A, I've already lined up a long list of open houses to go to. So far, I've managed to fill in all the slots from the first day of Eid until the 3rd day. In Sudan, the public holidays end on the third of eid, the staff will have to start working on Wednesday. So, on the fourth day, there's only one open house, after maghrib.

Our open house will be on the second day of Eid, from 9 - 11 am (the breakfast slot)...hehehe. FYI, I'm taking a rest from cooking throughout the holiday season...hehehe. That's what I planned, anyway.

So, for those who's back in Malaysia or on their way back... have a safe journey home. To those who's going on holidays, happy holidays and enjoy yourselves. For those left behind, let's 'party'!!! Hehehe
